My Diploma and Me
It square shape is as simple as any other piece of paper; only with a dedication and a written school name, but with the big difference in meaning. This piece of paper represents the difficult ways that a person has to go through to get it, but at the same time this paper represents the success and achievement of dreams. The diploma represents the sacrifice and success of a person in their lifetime.
When I look at my diploma, the first word that comes to my mind is sacrifice. The late nights, headaches and all the things that a person has to go through just to get the home work done. The way that a person has to travel to get a diploma is very long and full of obstacles. Nobody said it was easy, but I also learned it was not impossible. One year ago my family planned a trip to the Dominican Republic. At that time, I was in high school and I was taking final tests. Because of this, I could not go to the Dominican Republic.
A person who obtains a diploma from high school, college or a technical course feels fulfilled and accomplished. It’s an unexplainable feeling. You feel that you were successful and could surpass all the bad roads that you faced. Success is the most precious thing a person can have, and from my own experience, I can assure you that having a diploma hanging on the wall of your room and knowing that it has your name; believe me, it feels amazing.
